Update 1- The Scientific Proof That God Exists
The Atheologist is awaiting a response to the letter, from the previous post, which was sent to the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette. Jerry Bergman so far has not responded, but it’s only been 3 weeks, (you know how busy those scientific people are). A Ms. Rhea Edmonds an assistant Features Editor from The Journal Gazette has assured me that she “will make sure that Jerry gets it”.
In order to kill time while we’re waiting, here are some interesting links to internet sites that also proclaim to have proof of God’s existence. Are they as scientifically valid as Jerry’s? You decide.
Here’s proof that the BEAJ needs to see!
Here's a supposed miracle that proves that God exists!
Here are over 300 proofs that God exists!
Here's proof from a mathematician!
Lots of good information there!

I saw the 300 proofs before. I wonder what Jerry Bergman says about this.
I’m only assuming now, but Jerry would say something along the lines that God does not want to be tested so he ignored the prayers, (only for this study of course). You know it’s similar to how he planted fossils to fool the evolution people into thinking that the earth is really old. What a tricky devil he is!
Nice blog, atheologist.
I especially like this quote from BEAJ's link:
"Intercessory prayer itself had no effect on whether complications occurred (and) patients who were certain that intercessors would pray for them had a higher rate of complications than patients who were uncertain but did receive intercessory prayer," the study said.
So, not only are the prayers falling on deaf ears, simply KNOWING about the prayers can have deleterious effects.
One thing is for sure, "God" certainly wants humanity to have valid reasons to doubt his existence. But, according to the Christian faith, non-believers will end up going to Hell. That means, essentially, God is herding lots of people toward Hell. But, then again, that really doesn't fit God's alleged omnibenevolent character. If God were omnibenevolent, then God would want everybody to go to Heaven, and thus would make sure everybody had good reason to believe in him and accept him. Perhaps I've stumbled onto a logic proof against God??
Yes francesthemagnificent, you have stumbled upon one of the many logical proofs of the non-existence of the biblical God. The problem is that the faithful do not use logic and critical thinking when it comes to their beliefs.
Faith is believing what you know ain't so. -- Mark Twain
Thanks for the kudos.
